Monica M. Michelotti, M.D. was born and raised in Los Alamos, New Mexico. She received her B.A. with honors from the University of Chicago. She did her medical school training at the University of Michigan where she graduated with honors and then stayed for her ophthalmology residency at the Kellogg Eye Center. She completed subspecialty training in retinal surgery at OHSU’s Casey Eye Institute and is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
She has been invited to international institutions and conferences to present her work on improving the quality of care given by eye care providers.
Dr. Michelotti and her husband enjoy hiking, playing soccer, kayaking, and travelling with their young daughter.
