I took my 16-year-old son to this neurologist to discuss restarting medication for his tics and to address my concerns about his ADHD. The doctor explained that ADHD medication could potentially increase his tics, and for that reason, she declined to prescribe anything. She also mentioned that their facility doesn’t diagnose ADHD in children and suggested seeking care elsewhere if that’s the primary concern. While I understand her perspective, the visit felt very brief and focused mainly on her strong belief in therapy over medication. For a $40 co-pay, I left feeling that we didn’t receive the level of support or discussion I was hoping for.

Horrific. Will not be returning. Cannot even fathom how people continue to be treated by her. Never felt more stupid in my life for asking questions and advocating for my child. Will never return and will actively urge people looking for neurologists in the area to run for the hills.

Dr Chacon was very kind and thorough with my daughter. Even though she was not able to diagnose her with anything neurological she did advise us on what to try next.

She is amazing and fun and straightforward. She entertained my son the first visit and still asked about what the issue was. She is definitely a great multitasker!
