Dr. Moksha Ranasinghe, M.D., FAANS, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and neurosurgeon. She is fellowship-trained in Functional & Stereotactic Neurosurgery from Penn State College of Medicine. She earned her medical degree with a full scholarship from Dartmouth Medical School and completed her Neurosurgery Residency at Penn State College of Medicine, where she served as Chief Resident. With over 20 years of experience, she specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery.

Dr. Moksha Ranasinghe, M.D., F.A.A.N.S., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and neurosurgeon with over 20 years of experience, specializing in minimally invasive spine surgery. Born in Sri Lanka, she ranked top in her country for sciences and was inspired by her pharmacist mother to pursue medicine. Her passion for neurosurgery was solidified by early experiences treating war victims with the Red Cross and later working with brain and spine injury patients.
She received a Bachelor of Science from MIT on a full scholarship. She then graduated from Dartmouth Medical School, also with a full scholarship. Dr. Ranasinghe completed her Neurosurgery Residency at Penn State College of Medicine, where she served as Chief Resident and trained under Dr. Robert Harbaugh. She further specialized her skills with a Functional & Stereotactic Neurosurgery Fellowship with Dr. James McInerney at Penn State Hershey.
