He then pursued internship and residency in General Surgery at Harvard Surgical Services in Boston, MA. He later completed residency in Ophthalmology at Boston University, and also two fellowships: one in Clinical Research at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, and one in Cornea and Refractive Surgery in Rochester, NY.
