Very good doctor

First visit & I am very impressed. I have visited other doctors on a first and their lack of preparedness was obvious as they attempted to catch up with my records. Dr. Alsoub gets directly to the point, describing his assessment with clarity & obvious deep knowledge. I like no-nonsense, no time wasted but thorough as can be doctors say it all, then close with “Do you have any questions for me”.

Dr was polite, but didn’t ask for any other family members medical histories (such as: mother, father, brother, sister, etc). Also, he didn’t ask about any medicines I am currently taking. He didn’t review (or ask to review) any of the new patient paperwork that I was still filling out. He was in & out within about 5-8 minutes. I basically felt like I drove an hour for nothing! Granted, he did order a couple of tests, but didn’t do anything on appointment day except listen to my breathing.

Dr. Alsoub is a good doctor, but seems to be preoccupied most of the time and doesn't explain things on a patient's level. Also, after having been referred for a sleep study, I have never heard from Dr. Alsoub again. Went for 2 studies and was referred for a CPAP, again, never heard from his office. Called 2 x's to ask what the next step was, no return call! Unacceptable!

Dr. Alsoub is fantastic. His concern for his patients is always one of many wonderful qualities he has. His staff all are excellent and his NP, Tonya is also so caring about their patients.

When you have an appointment, he will spend the whole scheduled period with you if need be; I know when I come in to see Dr. Alsoub he’s already reviewed my medical record. He is very knowledgeable, personable, genuinely caring and concerned. I never feel rushed, and he always asks if I have any other questions. He is hands down the best specialist I have ever encountered. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a pulmonologist.

Been seeing dr.alsoub few years now and he's the best. I had go to ICU and when i woke up he's the first person i seen and saved my live. He spent hours in that ICU checking on patients, went that extra mile for every patient in there. Thanks doc!!!
