Dr. Mitesh Kapadia is an oculoplastic surgeon practicing in Boston and Wellesley Massachusetts. He is an assistant professor at Tufts University School of Medicine and a member of the Center for Aesthetic Eyelid and Facial Surgery at Tufts Medical Center. Dr. Kapadia performs surgery at Tufts Medical Center in Boston as well as in an operating suite at his Wellesley office.
Dr. Kapadia is a recognized leader in the field of ophthalmic plastic surgery. In addition to seeing patients and performing surgery, Dr. Kapadia teaches ophthalmic plastic surgery and has authored several research publications and textbook chapters in the field.
Dr. Kapadia has extensive training in eyelid, lacrimal and orbital surgery from several of the nation’s best medical schools. Dr. Kapadia received his undergraduate degree from Haverford College and attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. In addition to his clinical training, he spent several years doing research in the field of visual perception and was awarded a Ph.D. in neuroscience in addition to his M.D. degree.
Dr. Kapadia completed residency training in ophthalmology at the Harvard Medical School Residency in Ophthalmology, based at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. His residency training was followed by a fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at Boston Medical Center. Dr. Kapadia is a member of the American Society for Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is board-certified in Ophthalmology.
Dr. Kapadia performs hundreds of eyelid surgeries each year and has been in practice since 2006.

Dr Kapadia is an excellent surgeon but I felt the anesthesiologist used too much anesthesia for an hour and a half procedure
10/10 experience from consultation to surgery day. Dr. Kapadia has great bed side manners, very attentive and calming presence which really puts you at ease. Nurses and staff were also excellent. I have been wanting to do an upper bleth for years but was scared of the pain and recovery but was beyond pleased with how easy the procedure was and recovery! 10/10 recommend and recommend Dr. Kapadia!
I could not have found a better doctor than Dr. Kapadia ! I wish I didn’t wait so long to have my surgery and he and his entire team were very professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. I knew I was in good hands despite being anxious about my surgery. I truly would recommend Dr. Kapadia to anyone that is interested in looking and feeling their best!!!
