Dr. Mitesh Kapadia is an oculoplastic surgeon practicing in Boston and Wellesley Massachusetts. He is an assistant professor at Tufts University School of Medicine and a member of the Center for Aesthetic Eyelid and Facial Surgery at Tufts Medical Center. Dr. Kapadia performs surgery at Tufts Medical Center in Boston as well as in an operating suite at his Wellesley office.
Dr. Kapadia is a recognized leader in the field of ophthalmic plastic surgery. In addition to seeing patients and performing surgery, Dr. Kapadia teaches ophthalmic plastic surgery and has authored several research publications and textbook chapters in the field.
Dr. Kapadia has extensive training in eyelid, lacrimal and orbital surgery from several of the nation’s best medical schools. Dr. Kapadia received his undergraduate degree from Haverford College and attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. In addition to his clinical training, he spent several years doing research in the field of visual perception and was awarded a Ph.D. in neuroscience in addition to his M.D. degree.
Dr. Kapadia completed residency training in ophthalmology at the Harvard Medical School Residency in Ophthalmology, based at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. His residency training was followed by a fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at Boston Medical Center. Dr. Kapadia is a member of the American Society for Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is board-certified in Ophthalmology.
Dr. Kapadia performs hundreds of eyelid surgeries each year and has been in practice since 2006.

There are truly no words to express how elated I am with my results—and I’m only three weeks post-op from my lower blepharoplasty with CO₂ laser. Dr. Kapadia was incredibly kind, caring, and confident, and his entire team was just as friendly and supportive. I felt completely at ease going into the procedure. A few hours after surgery, I received a check-in call from the team, and again the next day, which meant so much. I carefully followed all the pre- and post-op instructions, and for me, the healing process was smooth and completely painless—no discomfort at all. I want to thank Dr. Kapadia for giving me the ability to look in the mirror and truly love the reflection looking back at me. I still wake up expecting to see the puffy under-eye bags that made me self-conscious for decades, and they’re simply… gone. And again, this is only three weeks post-op! I am already over-the-moon happy with my results. Thank you, Dr. Kapadia and the entire team. You are absolutely wonderful!

Dr. Kapadia is a master at his craft. He offers his recommendations and never tries to up sell any services. I originally went to him for an upper & lower bleph consultation but he was honest with me and told me I didn’t need an upper bleph. I really appreciated his honesty.

The best of the best! everything has gone so smooth before during and after my upper blepharoplasty. Dr Kapaida goes above and beyond, with his skill, knowledge, experience and kindness. And the office staff are always pleasant and welcoming. I was hesitant to get this procedure but so happy I did.
I am 3 weeks post op with have no upper & lower eyelid surgery with C02 laser and loving the results, I only wish I did this sooner!
Outstanding! Dr. Kapadia is an excellent surgeon who knows how to make you look your best. I wouldn’t trust anyone else! He is patient and not impulsive. He is simply a great doctor and very skilled.
