Dr. Mitchell Challis, M.D. was born and raised in Olathe, KS. He served a mission for his church from 1998 to 2000 in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. Dr. Challis completed his General Surgery internship and residency in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Memphis in 2014.
Dr. Challis is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and licensed by the Kansas and Missouri State Board of Healing Arts.
He enjoys all aspects of otolaryngology and speaks Spanish fluently. He and his wife Alexis are busy raising 5 children. He enjoys coaching some of their soccer teams and watching them play basketball. In his spare time he likes camping, back packing, playing tennis, and reading history.
