Dr. Mireille Blanchette was born and raised in the province of Québec in Canada. Upon graduation from Podiatric Medical School, in 2009, she practiced in Canada for one year.
In 2010, Dr. Blanchette decided to pursue further surgical training in the United States. She relocated to New York where she studied for an additional year at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.
She then went on to complete a 3 years surgical residency at Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx NY, serving as chief resident in the final year. At Montefiore Medical Center Dr. Blanchette was extensively trained in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery, including trauma and reconstructive surgery.
Currently, Dr. Blanchette is a board-qualified surgeon.
Dr. Blanchette is fluent in French and in English.
