Miguel Araneo, M.D.

Dr. Miguel Araneo, M.D. joined Hematology Oncology Associates in December of 2006. He earned his medical degree from Venezuela ‘s Central University and was further trained in hematology/oncology at Saint Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital in New York. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Hematology and the American Board of Oncology. He holds professional memberships in American Society of Clinical Oncology and American Society of Hematology.

Patients in Dr. Araneo’s care can be assured that they are receiving treatment that is technologically advanced, as it is his priority to “seek and apply the latest advances” in therapies and techniques. Quality of life for his patients is also a top concern for Dr. Araneo, who uses all available resources to preserve and improve patient well-being. And, perhaps most importantly, Dr. Araneo reminds each new person her cares for that “there is always hope”. Dr. Araneo is equally fluent in both Spanish and English.

In his free time, Dr. Araneo enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors.
