Michelle Gonzaba, M.D.

Michelle Gonzaba, M.D. is a Family Medicine doctor, with a passion for preventative and integrative medicine. Born and raised in Texas, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX and graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA) where she received her Medical Degree. Dr. Michelle Gonzaba completed her residency at East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie, Louisiana where she was Chief Resident.

As an avid sports enthusiast, at a young age, Dr. Gonzaba was drawn to the field of medicine, after she experienced some athletic injuries. A profound surgeon inspired her to go into medicine, a passion and privilege she will always remember.

Prior to joining Gonzaba Medical Group, Dr. Gonzaba worked at MedFirst Primary Care as a Family Physician. She is also a part of the UT School of Medicine at San Antonio Adjunct Faculty. She brings invaluable patient experience with her. She’s a member of The American Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Academy of Family Physicians, and The American Board of Family Physicians.

Dr. Michelle Gonzaba enjoys spending time with her husband and children, watching and playing sports, and spending time outdoors.
