As an avid sports enthusiast, at a young age, Dr. Gonzaba was drawn to the field of medicine, after she experienced some athletic injuries. A profound surgeon inspired her to go into medicine, a passion and privilege she will always remember.
Prior to joining Gonzaba Medical Group, Dr. Gonzaba worked at MedFirst Primary Care as a Family Physician. She is also a part of the UT School of Medicine at San Antonio Adjunct Faculty. She brings invaluable patient experience with her. She’s a member of The American Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Academy of Family Physicians, and The American Board of Family Physicians.
Dr. Michelle Gonzaba chose Gonzaba Medical Group because of the compassionate care they deliver to the community, “I love that we treat people Like Family, Como familia. That is the way medicine should be.”
Dr. Michelle Gonzaba enjoys spending time with her husband and children, watching and playing sports, and spending time outdoors.
