Dr Wong is very personable and patient. He answers all of my questions and ensures that I understand his responses.. I have a much better understanding of the complexity of my spinal problems. I appreciate the conser ative approaches he is taking to relieve my pain.
The office is inefficient, but the nurses are friendly and helpful. The injection was fine. For the first shot, I was confused about what was being done and it was very painful and difficult. The second time, I knew what to expect and Dr. Wang told me to breathe in before the pain and then breathe out during it. So, it went much more smoothly. There is an inordinately long form to fill out the first time. After that, it still takes too long to fill out. The office required preauthorization on the second injection, but the insurance did not require preauthorization. It took a month and a half, two calls to the office and one to the insurance company before they scheduled it. If I need this again, I will go elsewhere.
Dr. Wong told me what he was doing before doing it. I recently had a nerve block on both sides of my spine. I usually have anesthesia which wasn't available. Today, I can walk so much better.
He explained what he was doing throughout the procedure.
