Dr. Wiedmer has been our orthopaedic doctor for at least 25 years. He has been with us through all of our family’s accidents and issues. He is incredibly kind and genuinely cares for people. When we go for a visit, it’s like catching up with an old friend. Such a good person and an excellent physician/surgeon! 10 stars out of 5.
EDUCATION: Dr. Wiedmer completed his undergraduate study at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He received his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama.
ADDITIONAL TRAINING: Internship in Orthopaedic Residency at Louisiana State University; internship at Carraway Methodist Medical Center; studied with Dr. Michael Saag, Department of Infectious Disease at the University of Alabama Birmingham and Vanderbilt Emergency Department.
PERSONAL: Dr. Wiedmer resides in Anniston with his family.
