Dr. Michael Teixido, MD

I’m so very glad I came to see Dr. Teixido. He’s the first doctor who’s been able to provide me with some answers and possible solutions to my vertigo. Very clear, thorough and patient.

I’ve met Dr. Teixido twice already this year and he has been so kind and exceptionally knowledgeably. I was anxious because of my issues with Menieres and Vestibular Migraines, but with the proper medication I’ve been feeling so much better. I left for vacation in Europe this past Summer and I was very anxious that I would possibly have symptoms but I took my meds and brought my rescue medication just in case and it turned out to be the most amazing vacation. I travel from NJ so the 2.5 hour drive is 100% worth it. Since I’ve been doing to great the next time I see him is next September 2025. I would recommend Dr. Teixido to anyone who is suffering and has difficult issues with their ears and head. Allison Voxakis :)

He did not look at my chart before he entered the room. He asked me what I was there for. I met him with Dr. Connolly and already had MRI and cyber knife treatments for five days. He explained I was a new patient to him. I explained I was dizzy and he gave me exercises to do. It was interesting he was not briefed before he came in to see me.

Superb knowledge of migraines and symptoms. In my house we call him the miracle worker.

Dr Texido is a fantastic scientist and doctor. The only problem is EVERY appointment, EVERY appointment, you are kept in the waiting room AT LEAST AN HOUR!!!! ONCE, we were 10 minutes late after traveling an hour (due to a car accident), and the reception said that we must RESCHEDULE. The price we pay to see an excellent doctor! My time is precious and valuable ALSO!

Dr. Teixido is absolutely phenomenal! I have nothing but good things to say about him! His knowledge is so vast. His bedside manner is wonderful. He has so much experience. I trust him wholeheartedly.

I was seen almost 3 hours past my scheduled appointment time.

There is no question that Dr. Teixido has great knowledge in the area of Vertigo. However, perhaps he is over extending himself which is causing long waiting times.

Dr. Teixido has given me hope for the first time since I've had my ear problems. He is efficient, thorough, and professional. He asks very specific questions and listens intently. You just know his brain is fully engaged and he is absorbing every piece of information. No need for small chat; this is important business. I loved his specificity while looking over my scans. I must add that the Fellow working with him was a bonus.

I left in tears because of the way this doctor treated me. He made me feel extremely stupid. He didn't introduce the other gentleman he had with him, nor did he explain anything to me. I've never had a doctor make me feel this way.

Needs to schedule patients differently. Had a nearly 2 hour wait. My previous visits have been 1-1.5 hour waits. So this is a pattern and should be adjusted. I can understand a 30 minute wait, but beyond that is not respectful to the patient. And then when Dr. Teixido sees you, I feel that he is rushed and doesn't allow time to really hear what the patient is saying and to answer questions. This too has been a pattern. After waiting 2 hours, you get 10-15 minutes of his time.

I moved to Delaware in 2014 and had an issue with my hearing. I was referred to Dr. Teixido by a local doctor. It was a blessing from the beginning. We found I had a tumor near my brain stem and around a main nerve for hearing. Dr.Teixido used radiation technology to shrink the tumor with no pain. After 10 years he said the tumor has continued to shrink and I no longer have to come for my annual checks. This man is a wonderful doctor and friend that cares about you, the patient.
