Dr. Michael T. Morris II, MD, (a.k.a. Dr. Mike) is a board certified cardiologist and is also a nationally recognized author, speaker, and consultant. He is also a media expert who promotes comprehensive health improvement, with an emphasis on heart and vascular disease prevention. Dr. Mike helps patients individually and in groups and provides health educational instruction to transform lives.

Prior to joining Atlanta Heart Specialists, he has worked in academics as well as private practice, having served as an Assistant Professor of Cardiology at Emory University School of Medicine and also creating a multi-specialty medical practice and a clinical research institute.

His mission is to improve the overall health and wellbeing of patients with an integrative approach to healthcare with a strong focus on prevention, using the latest in technology and care delivery models to further improve the convenience of healthcare.
