Very caring. I foundry feel rushed and he took the time to answered my questions. My only complaint was after the initial consultation he was scheduled for my next appt in 6 months. Would have felt better if the follow up was sooner.

He seemed very knowledgeable and easy to talk with. Since I cannot take any of the RX medications due to my heart meds, he suggested over the counter meds.

I was referred to Dr. Smitherman for my arthritis after having numerous surgeries. I expected the visit to be the same as most other doctor visits that I have where I'm not listened to and the doctor seems dismissive. This was not my experience with Dr. Smitherman. He is very thorough, attentive, and kind. He addressed all of my concerns and began trying to find resolutions. Doctors these days could learn so much from him by simply doing what he does in caring about what his patients have to say and taking them serious. After all these years of surgeries and living with pain on a daily basis, Dr. Smitherman has restored my hope that there could be a solution where I can live a normal life. I cannot thank him and his team enough.
