Telling me That I dont have things I have been diagnosed with From Memphis.And Horrible bedside manner.Everything you said He would Try and make you feel different about what you know is going on with your body.And what you feel everyday.Also putting me basicly on a addiction medication,When I dont have addiction in anyway of anything.Folks you know your body.You know what helps you.And when you have 2mri records And the he tells you that they are wrong is a joke.Laughable joke.But serious due to him Not giving treatment but to those he favors.I know 2 people that see him.They get treatment.And relief.Also there is nothing on my medical records with any flags.My help was meds that is to Make the effects of drinking which I dont,And And pain relievers not work.That was my treatment.No Blood work to check inflammation levels etc.And tell you what has been confirmed twice! By speacialist not one thing.But many,He says I dont have in his op And Without looking at Mri's. Just xrays.Im fine.

Dr. Michael Smitherman, M.D. was born in Birmingham, Alabama. He developed an interest in medicine and rheumatology at an early age when his grandmother was diagnosed with a rheumatoid arthritis and scleroderma overlap syndrome. He attended the University of Alabama School of Medicine, graduating in 1995. He then completed a residency in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center- Miami Beach, Florida. He practiced internal medicine in Cumming, Georgia, and Tucker, Georgia, between 1998 to 2001. After which he completed a fellowship in rheumatology at the University of Florida, Gainesville, to achieve his goal of becoming a rheumatologist. While at the University of Florida, he was awarded an AMGEN fellowship award. As an AMGEN fellow he completed research in systemic lupus erythematosus which was presented at the American College of Rheumatology national meeting in 2003. He published research in fibromyalgia in Current Pain and Headache Reports (August, 2002) with Dr. Roland Staud (author of Fibromyalgia for Dummies) and completed research with Dr. N. Larry Edwards on new and emerging therapies for gouty arthritis. He is board certified in Rheumatology and board eligible in internal medicine
