Michael Sistare, D.O.

Dr. Michael Sistare, D.O., is recognized as a specialist by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. He was raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and graduated from Saint Thomas Aquinas High School. He comes from a middle class family with his father selling construction equipment and his mother working as a medical malpractice attorney.

He earned Bachelor's Degrees from both Florida State University and Florida International University on his path to medical school. He graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine-Bradenton Campus before continuing his general surgery residency at Larkin Community Hospital in South Miami, Florida.

He learned the art of cosmetic surgery from Dr. Eric Nuveen at Cosmetic Surgery Affiliates in Oklahoma City as a surgical fellow. After fellowship, Dr. Sistare was fortunate to be able to move back to South Florida to start practice at Palm Beach Cosmetic Surgery.

Dr. Sistare chose a career in cosmetic surgery because it allows him to blend artistry with science, helping patients feel more confident and comfortable in their own skin. This field offers him the unique privilege of forming personal connections with patients, listening to their stories, and understanding their goals. Caring and detail-oriented, he takes pride in crafting personalized treatment plans that align with each patient’s vision, always striving for natural, harmonious results. Driven by compassion and a commitment to excellence, his work is about more than enhancing appearances—it’s about empowering patients and positively impacting their lives.

In his spare time, Dr. Sistare enjoys exercising, eating at local restaurants, and spending time with his wife and their two puppies, Ozzie and Rosie.
