My visit was a nightmare of physical aggression and professional incompetence. The blonde X-ray tech was abhorrent; she treated my surgical hip like a toy, shoving it around despite my protests. When I requested a pillow for support, she became abrasive and performed an performative, insulting "sanitization" ritual with paper towels as if I were biohazardous, claiming "protocol" to mask her rudeness.
It escalated further when I attempted to leave. After she whispered to a male co-worker, he intervened by shoving my legs, nearly instigating a full physical confrontation. This office is a liability waiting for a tragedy. The staff is inept, callous, and utterly devoid of basic human compassion. They are dangerously immature and clearly have no intention of providing actual care. I will never return and will be steering everyone I know away from this toxic environment.

Michael A. Sirota, MD, is a board-certified physician in San Diego specializing in orthopaedic sports medicine, trauma, and orthopaedic surgery. He brings extensive training and clinical experience to San Diego Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center, Inc.

Following his residency, Dr. Sirota completed a fellowship in orthopaedic sports medicine at Pennsylvania State University in State College, Pennsylvania, where he was privileged to provide sideline coverage for Penn State’s Division I sports teams.
