Dr. Michael B. Rose is a fellowship-trained orthopedic sports medicine surgeon. He specializes in advanced shoulder and elbow surgery, knee ligament reconstruction, hip arthroscopy, knee cartilage restoration and meniscus transplantation, malalignment correction including osteotomies of the femur and tibia, and patellofemoral disorders. He is experienced in reparative medicine, featuring Lipogems® and Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Injections.
Dr. Rose received his fellowship training at the Steadman Hawkins Clinic – Denver. During his time in Colorado, Dr. Rose worked with several professional sports teams. He served as the Assistant Team Physician for the Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies, and several local high schools. Dr. Rose completed his orthopedic surgery residency program at Oregon Health and Science University. He obtained his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine. A varsity soccer player himself, Dr. Rose’s interests in sports led him to the University of North Carolina Charlotte where he received his undergraduate education and was a recipient of a four-year athletic scholarship.
Dr. Rose remains active in the medical community and is an author of numerous publications, including topics on ACL ligament reconstruction, shoulder and elbow kinematics, and knee arthroscopy. He is a member of the American Orthopedic Association, American Orthopedic Society of Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy Association of North America, International Society for Hip Arthroscopy, and American Medical Association.
