Dr. Michael Phillips, M.D. graduated Cum Laude from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Minor in Russian. He received his MD from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. During his six-year service in the Alabama Air National Guard, he served one year active duty. While on active duty as an airman in the US Air Force, Dr. Phillips worked in the intelligence field.
He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America, Alabama Gastroenterological Society, and the American Medical Association. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
