I’m a ‘return’ patient! Earlier this year, I had such a positive experience with excellent results when DR O’Sullivan replaced my left hip, that I am now going to have him replace my right knee. I had two hip replacements in six weeks. The first was painful but tolerable and I had it done on the Eason ace surgical center. I cannot say the same for Batstate. Communication for discharge was sub standard. First was an hot second was three. This surgery did not do as well at all. I have never been in so much pain in my life. Not to Mention the unprofessionalism of the anesthesiologists. I should not have woke up to vibrations and dr. O’Sullivan hammering my Implant in the middle of the procedure. One in 20000. If I were to recommend it would be to avoid BAYSTATE at all costs. No reason tohave to bite a towel to make basic movement. Dr. O’Sullivan and neos were great and the nurse post op was great. Everyone else at BAYSTATE was a disappointment including the procedure

Big help making process easier

I met Dr O’Sullivan for a surgical consult for hip replacement. He explained the whole procedure in easily understood terminology. He reviewed the pros and cons of his approach as well as what to expect before, during and after the surgery. I feel very confident in his explanation and am ready for left hip in early March. His staff. Eryn and Barbara also did a great job scheduling my two surgeries, reviewing all materials and, even referred me to Medical Records to obtain a handicapped placard. All were very friendly, professional and understanding. They also answered every question to my satisfaction and have ver high expectations that they exceeded. Expecting surgery to go smoothly.

I cannot describe in words how much I appreciate this gentleman. From my first visit with him I felt like he listened and knew just what was necessary . He was honest about any risks involved but there was a trust that i immediately developed which doesn’t happen easily . I have been almost pain free after the first 48 hours and I am healing well . Has no time to listen to the patient inj front of him. Has an inflated sense of his persona. Takes no time to let the patient understand the decision making process or what to expect. A shocking experience. He left me with no sense of competence from him or comfort for myself. Is the rest of the NEOS staff similar? Nice that he graduated with an MD but where did he get that Degree in Arrogance? Does he have any sense other humans exist and that others may merit curtseys? I suspect not.

He is absolutely amazing. I can't say enough about the quality care he provides.
