Very compassionate explained everything very well. He explained computer images to me so I understood what was happening in my knees and very upfront about what to expect from surgery and injections.

No personality and spent about 30 seconds talking with me. Seemed like he had a 1000 places he’d rather be.

He came in very bland and almost as though we were interrupting his day with our appointment. His attitude made it seem as though he hated his job or us? We were not sure and a little confused by him.

I would not like to be seen by this physician again. He was impersonable and I got a sense of pretentiousness and that I was wasting his time. His PA was great.

He has always been a great doctor.

I am sure he is a very capable doctor. Perhaps because I am here on vacation is the reason for his apparent disinterest and failure to explain. Also seemed very uncomfortable with technology.. No "going forward" paperwork or information re: the visit.

Dr Murphy is a very good doctor. He explained to me all the questions that I had and asked questions on my recovery and explained that I needed to continue with my physical therapy and to come back in a month. Very pleasant with me.

Great surgeon! Dr. Murphy has done two total knee replacement surgeries for me.Both turned out awesome. I am now five months past rotator cuff surgery and it is healing as it should be. I am very pleased with everything Dr. Murphy and his team have done for me. I definitely would recommend Dr. Murphy for anyone needing help with their situation.

Could not ask for any better care went from not being able to walk and falling down to be able to do what I want to do. Turned out just exactly like he said it would doing my exercises could not ask for a better outcome.

The wait to see Dr. Murphy was way too long….appointment was to be at 10:10. Doctor arrived a little before 12:00.

My visit today was a one-year post total knee replacement check-up. My new knee has been excellent and a result of Dr. Murphy's skills. Dr. Murphy has fixed both my shoulders also. I have complete trust in his skills.

Dr. Murphy is the shiny example of a spoiled child who doesn’t want to do what they have been asked. With eye rolls, exasperated sighs, and a voice that reflects his unwillingness to listen and care about a patient. Without clear evidence for a quick easy payday by surgery, Dr. Murphy has made a half attempt to do the job he was hired to do. He shows the exact reason people do not trust doctors or medical personnel.

Very impersonal. Never addressed my pain. The physicians assistant was arrogant . The only thing he could address or help me with is my weight. If I wanted to know about my weight would have contacted weight watchers!!! Very poor results

Dr Murphy has taken excellent care of me and my severe injuries in 2005 when i fell of my roof I am able to walk quite well because of his surgical skills and follow-up care

While he is probably knowledgeable and a good doctor, he seemed bored and indifferent, like I was just another number in a long day of work.

He doesn't want to listen and try to help. When you start with a comment "let me guess, you didn't come here for this recheck but to fix something else". Won't go back to see him.

He’s very abrupt and short. No smiling, no making small talk connections with patients, comes across very intimidating. Anxious to see what he’s like on the surgery end.

If you’re looking for professional service from people that know what there doing and actually care about you, SCO is the place to be. I’ve had to deal with health issues for 2 decades and I have always gotten top notch service here. I only wish that I didn’t always make the 1 hour drive first.
