He is very caring about his patients. Very easy to talk to. He tells it like it is and answered any questions you may ask. I really like his total demeanor.

Doctor Mike McGraw is a great Doctor who is trying to help me with a new knee however you're staff that dose scheduling and takes care of the patients information is totally worthless I was supposed to have surgery in July but my A1C was to high so I got it under control now I've been dealing with my knee since last November I myself went and got the paperwork orthrized and handed it to your schedule office because they couldn't get a fax in today as much pain as I'm in an difficult to get around to see doctor Mike today he got the xray and sent me to scheduling in guess what they can't find my paperwork at all now it's not my job to do there job but I've never been to a doctors office that was this incompetent in my life so someone needs to find my paperwork and get my surgery scheduled ASAP I'm sick and tired of this run around

So when I met doctor McGraw he greeted me by my last name( Mrs. Phillips) how may I help you I shared what was going on with my knees and hiw it were affecting my mindset and my ability to be active in many things gw irderr exams and came back to explain what exactly what were going on to make a long stroy shirt since that day I has never experienced those pains again I would tell anybody about his services . Dr. McGraw performed shoulder surgery on 4/1. He stopped by to see me that afternoon and again on discharge date of 4/2. Nurses had to contact him a few times about pain control. He, as well as his team, nurses, were amazing. Three days after discharge, my allergy to tape burst on the scene. It was awful! One call to the after hours clinic of Ortho. East and I was seeing one of his team’s providers to help resolve my problem. Extremely impressed and thankful.

This gentleman had eased my concern with the oldest medicine known to man, laughter. From the moment he walked in, to the moment we left, he had me laughing. He explained my MRI and we discussed corrective measures and gave me the reassurance I needed.

Dr McGraw is a true not only doctor but a professional and a great person I had rotator cuff and upper bicep surgery June of 2022 age 57 and had to be back out on the baseball field throwing at a high level he had me throwing in 4 months and I competed about 4 months later and Pitt County Senior games for the first time ever and won five gold medals two being throwing competition with softball Long toss that I set a record of 191 ft and football throw.. I would highly recommend him for anybody dealing with shoulder and upper bicep heck for anything that you've got going on he's the best

Nothing was ever done to ease my pain. I got a MRI of my neck and never got the results. The reason I went was for my left elbow and that was never taken care of. I'm in a lot of pain and it seems like I'm gonna have to find a different doctor.

I think the same cavalier approach I got in office, was what I got in surgery. What was described as minor and leaving no restrictions, has me after 12 weeks with steady PT/rehab, still not as good as I was prior to surgery. A very expensive experience.

Dr.McGraw is a knowledgeable and talented Surgeon, who recently replaced my dominant shoulder joint. His craftsmanship is outstanding! Already, I have my arm back, with full range of motion, and scarcely any pain shortly after his work. Furthermore, last year, he repaired my sub-dominant shoulder, which had been replaced just a few years earlier by another Surgeon. I highly recommend him for these surgeries!

Dr. McGraw is always great. However there was a problem with my appointment. I sat in the waiting room for over an hour. My name was overlooked and I hadn’t said something to the regular person, I would probably still be there. Once I got back to a room it didn’t take any time. I didn’t like the new way of registering patients. You still spend the same amount of time at the front desk. I don’t think the new way is working very well. Thank you for letting me express myself.

Only got a gel shot in my knee. I hope it helps. Only took a couple of minutes. He reminded me that I have arthritis in both knees and the snap crackle and pop are there to stay unless I have surgery.

Dr. McGraw is the best. Im 56 years old and back lifting, working out and throwing baseball again short and long distance , and it hasn't even been a year yet. I had a total shoulder/rotary cuff / upper bicep surgery. The key is PT before surgery and PT after surgery, and behaving yourself. Again thanks to Dr. McGraw and Youngs Physical Therapy-Bardy and Renn. Im competitiing in the Sr. Olympic Games in April, and at a competitive level again! Thanks again to you all!

Unfortunately, the last five years that I have come to your practice, I have seen Dr. McGraw. His abrasiveness, arrogance, relay, nothing but a sentiment of inconvenience. I came today for an initial consultation for a hip replacement surgery. and my husband and I felt rushed, and glazed over. This perception is the result of how Dr. McGraw interacts with his patients. I believe it would be helpful if Dr. McGrath learned how to sincerely, and empathetically consider and listen to a patient’s lived experience. I have dealt with orthopedic specialists for 50+ years, much longer than Dr. McGraw has been in practice. I felt dismissed and inconsequential. I will not be returning to Orthopedics East.
