While there, he assisted physicians attending to professional athletes from teams such as the Los Angeles Lakers, Dodgers, Rams, and Kings, as well as the Angels, PGA Tour, Senior PGA Tour, and Hollywood Park Racetrack. He also served as Team Physician for LMU and the NCAA Women’s Basketball National Championship Tournament.
Dr. Lenihan has been in private practice in San Diego since 1992. He is a Founding Member and Medical Director of Otay Lakes Surgery Center in Chula Vista. Additionally, he is a Founding Member and President of Synergy Orthopedic Specialists, Inc., a twelve-physician orthopedic group.
