Michael Lee, M.D.

Dr. Michael B. Lee, M.D. is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in:
- Arthroscopic knee surgery: ACL reconstruction, meniscus repair/meniscectomy, and cartilage repair
- Arthroscopic shoulder surgery: rotator cuff repair and labral repair
- Fracture care
- Sports medicine

Dr. Lee completed his undergraduate degree at Pomona College. He received his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Washington. Dr. Lee then completed a fellowship in arthroscopic shoulder and knee surgery and sports medicine at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation in Palo Alto, California. During his fellowship training, Dr. Lee assisted in the care of the Oakland Raiders professional football team, USA Rugby, and was the team physician for the College of San Mateo athletic teams. Dr. Lee continues to serve the community, volunteering as the orthopedic doctor for numerous local athletic teams, including:

Outside of medicine, Dr. Lee enjoys time with his family and three children, skiing and snowshoeing, playing tennis, and volunteering at the Cocoon House.
