He went on to complete his Internal Medicine training at Washington University School of Medicine/Barnes Jewish Hospital. Dr. Jansen rejoined “The Gator Nation” completing both his Cardiology Fellowship and Electrophysiology Fellowship training at the University of Florida. Dr. Jansen joined The Cardiac & Vascular Institute in 2016 specializing in Electrophysiology, Atrial Fibrillation and Cardiovascular Diseases.

Dr. Michael Jansen, M.D. true Gator through and through, received both his undergraduate and medical degree from the University of Florida, where also he swam for the UF Men’s Swim team. He went on to complete his Internal Medicine training at Washington University School of Medicine/Barnes Jewish Hospital. Dr. Jansen rejoined “The Gator Nation” completing both his Cardiology Fellowship and Electrophysiology Fellowship training at the University of Florida.
Having served as UF’s Cardiovascular Medicine’s Chief Fellow. Dr. Jansen joined The Cardiac & Vascular Institute in 2016 specializing in Electrophysiology, Atrial Fibrillation and Cardiovascular Diseases.
In addition to his many publications, in 2000, seven-time NCAA Swimming All American Dr. Jansen, was a United States Swimming Olympic Trials Semi-Finalist in the 200-meter backstroke. In his leisure time, Dr. Jansen enjoys spending time with his family and watching UF Gator’s sports.

He comes highly regarded from friends at my church.We they mention his name they have a smile on their faces. That means a lot to me.
He is so nice to my 95 year old mother. She enjoys her visits with him.

Miracle worker with a great bedside manner. Fixed my heart and showed concern about some minor difficulties that I experienced. I am grateful and I admire dr Jansen.
I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Jansen. He treats you like a member of his family, and his low-key politeness and demeanor is very reassuring. I drive 70 miles to see the guy, and he’s worth every second of it. Lastly, I’m a doctor myself, and I can be critical of medical professionals. If you need a heart doctor, Dr. Mike Jansen should be at the top of your list.
