Dr. Michael G. Soojian, M.D., grew up on Long Island and attended Georgetown University for both his undergraduate and medical education. He went on to complete a general orthopaedic residency at New York University-Hospital for Joint Diseases. During his residency, Dr. Soojian was well-trained in the operative and non-operative care of fractures in adults and children. He remained at NYU-HJD for an additional year to complete sub-specialty training in hand and upper extremity surgery. His fellowship has provided him with proficiency in the treatment of traumatic, congenital, and degenerative conditions of the entire upper extremity. He is also well-versed in microsurgery and is experienced in the treatment of nerve compression syndromes, arthroscopy of the hand and wrist, and reconstructive surgery of the upper extremity, including elbow and wrist replacement.

Dr. Soojian was the absolute best. He made me feel so comfortable throughout my experience with trigger finger, talked me through all my options, and answered every question I had. After surgery, he was easy to reach when I was having pain and followed up to see how I was doing, which I really appreciated. I was also so impressed with how on time his appointments were. I was always called back within 5–10 minutes of my scheduled time. Between Dr. Soojian and his staff, I had such a positive experience and am so grateful for the care I received.
