I only gave a very good instead of excellent because I felt rushed at my postop visit. Although he answered my questions I still was unsure of the answers. I typically would have followed up but I felt rushed.

Dr. F has changed my life with the 4 different surgeries he did on me.Previous surgeon didn’t know what my problem was and DrF found my first issue immediately. This was in 2020 which delayed my surgery but he did his best to make that one happen asap. My other surgeries have been planned out with what was needed before and always showed compassion on getting my pain under control. I’m so glad I was assigned to him when I first came to OIP. This was life changing g to the GOOD! Thank you DrF.

Dr. Fernandez is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon. He has been a proud member of the UPMC Pinnacle Health Systems Board of Directors and the UPMC Pinnacle Health Governance Committee. He has co-authored several textbook chapters. Dr. Fernandez received the Orthopedic Surgery Clinical Teaching Award in 2011-2012 and 2015-2016. This award is shared by staff orthopedic surgeons who exemplify dedication and eagerness to educate orthopedic surgery residents.
