was nice but didn't quite answer my questions, just said if problem wasn't caused by knee it wasn't in his wheel house..

The doctor did absolutely nothing to look for or analyze what may have changed in my knee to cause the severe shooting pains I was experiencing. He took a quick look at the x-rays of the knee and it was quite apparent he wanted nothing to do with trying to help my situation. I tried my darndest to suggest that I felt it was something detached in the muscle or tendons that had changed based on the snapping I felt in the knee however all he talked about was the difficulty and doing any kind of bone surgery and did not even once address any other possibilities. he let me walk out the door believing there was nothing that could be done I had to live with it! This was a totally unsatisfactory doctors visit.

Dr. Duran is always up front and easy to understand about what's going on what's gonna be our best solution.

Congenial, respectful, prompt etc. The only problem is he is like all American Drs. They offer you meds and band- aid fixes to keep you coming back until your issue is so bad it requires surgery (which makes money). They have no interest in curing problems. They could learn a lot from Naturopaths, who make a great income DESPITE curing pts. That's where I'll be going for treatment. My Naturopathic Dr. repaired my torn rotator cuff without surgery and I haven't had any problems since then; about 15-20 years ago.

Dr. Duran recognized my problem and provided immediate relief for pain.

Dr. Duran was excellent! He took the time to explain things to me AND to answer my questions.

Arrogant and aggressive trying to intimidate with his attitude and literally saying he did not care within first five minutes. He only further coveted up for prior malpractice as I knew core would and he lied claiming the musculoskeletal rumors that and orthopedic oncologist already told me I have are just arthritis. He came in with a tough guy act trying to draw upon his army background but I made mincemeat of this unsuspecting and cowardly fool. He couldn't hold my gaze or look me in the eye after I pointed out his failures and claiming he can diagnose by naked eye without any scans or tests

Dr Duran is great….he answered all my questions in terms i could understand. I appreciate him and his knowledge more than i can express.

Better explanation of what he found when he did my hip surgery, and exactly what he had to do me. PT is a must after surgery. I watch other patients struggle at health clubs trying to rehabilitate themselves physically and mentally with no guidance.

I enjoyed our meeting and felt he listened well. We left with a treatment, that has helped and a plan for the future.

He is one of the best in his profession because he listens to his patients and he genuinely cares. Because of his diligence it was discovered I had an aggressive cancer, that if gone untreated could have ended my life in six to eight months. all doctors, especially at Core, are very busy--too busy, always many patients waiting. But it is tough on patients facing complex and daunting decisions. It is not Dr. Duran per se, it's the system everywher these days, but esp. at Core.

This Dr is the real deal. I came to him with a very difficult case and had already been told by other Drs that my only option was the last resort. Pretty hopeless situation. He's a Dr that likes a tough challenge, and is willing to put in the work to do what is right and in the best interest of his patients. So blessed that he is my oncology orthopedic surgeon.
