Dr. Michael Campbell joined ECVA early in 2019. Previously, he practiced in Orchard Park and Pittsburgh. An Orchard Park native, Dr. Campbell obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Biological and Biomedical Engineering at Cornell University graduating with honors. He then worked as a mechanical engineer at a medical device company before attending medical school. Dr. Campbell graduated from Upstate Medical University in the top ten percent of his class and then completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Virginia.
A board-certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Campbell is licensed in New York state. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Academy of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, the Medical Society of Erie County, and the Medical Society of the State of New York.
He currently resides in Orchard Park with his wife and three children.

Dr. Campbell is very professional and friendly. He genuinely cares about his patients. I'm very glad he was the one who did my cataract surgery.

Fast but didn’t feel rushed professional throughout the whole office
He's very caring and thorough.
Very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He was able to help me resolve my issues in one visit. As well as made sure everything else was healthy with my eyes. Very friendly office would highly recommend.

He explains questions thoroughly
My first visit: I liked him... a lot. Very professional, answered all my questions. He knew what the issue was and will be addressing it. He is all business, but I get it... he's a busy man. I would recommend him to others as I did that very same day to two of my friends.
Very professional, reassuring, attentive, and I did not feel rushed. Everybody out front was superb and Dr Campbell is someone I hope to see more of in the future where needed
