Dr. Mike is a gem, a rare find! He is the busiest doctor who manages to provide you the time you need. He leads with kindness at every turn. An amazing surgeon having repaired my knee after two failed knee replacements with another orthopedic practice. My surgery was challenging and quite an undertaking. One year after surgery, I am in a much better place with improved mobility and no pain. I am so grateful!

He obtained his medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine, graduating with honors, and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Brown University, where he received multiple recognitions for his outstanding leadership and patient care including the prestigious Haffenreffer House Staff Excellence Award. Dr. Mariorenzi remained at Brown where he completed his fellowship training in orthopaedic trauma surgery, mastering the care of complex traumatic injuries as well as routine fracture care. Following this, he completed another fellowship in adult reconstructive surgery at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, becoming an expert in hip and knee replacement surgeries.
Dr. Michael C. Mariorenzi followed in the footsteps of his father, uncle, and grandfather, who are all orthopedic surgeons. Outside of the hospital, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy, and his family. He also enjoys getting outside to enjoy beautiful Rhode Island summers and doing woodworking projects.
