He has served on the board of the Southern Arizona Association for the Visually Impaired (SAAVI) and he is a past chief of ophthalmology at Northwest Hospital. He has served on the board of the Pima County Medical Society. He is the chief consultant for the award-winning booklet Small Incision Cataract Surgery: Seeing The Difference.
Dr. Diesenhouse has been selected five times as one of the Best Doctors © in America.
