I look at Dr. Blackmer as being an expert in the field of orthopedics. I’ve had much success with the right knee he replaced just over a year ago and now I’ve scheduled the surgery for my left knee. I highly recommend him.

He speaks with a smile even tho it’s not so good a diagnosis. Very professional as is His Staff! I was in a lot of pain so honestly I couldn’t complete the forms. And was quite slow. They, Still did not rush me. So I may have missed a detail or two , but they All excelled at their jobs with kindness and consideration. It was proof (to me) that even with so many patients to see -long schedules and different ailments. Dr Blackmer must hand pick his staff! He and Kaleb Coleman seem to gel well together. By far the best orthopedist ever! And I’ve been to plenty! Not only extremely skilled but incredible bedside manner! He’s done 2 joint replacements on me in the last 5 months and both have gone flawlessly. I’m a physician and we are big babies normally but he controls pain with multiple therapies and it works!!!

The doctor was very good. I give him 5 stars. I was on time. As I’m in the waiting area a lot of people came in after me and were taken back to see the doctors. After 1 hour 10 minutes I walked up to the reception desk. I, with a smile on my face, asked if I was forgotten! I have a hearing disability, so I was afraid I might have missed my name being called. The 2 receptionist were cold and informed me there were more doctors back there. Well I knew that, I just wanted a reasurance that my time would be soon and I wasn’t forgotten. Instead I was met with coldness and hostility. Not very receptive. Their attitude continued upon my checking out. I experienced this same cold treatment before with dealing with the receptionist.

Dr Blackmear and staff are 5++. The best in care. He did total knee replacement with some different issues. I was so impressed from first visit, surgery, and had a super recovery. Recommend highly.

I have studied every website known to man, about who is the BEST HIP REPLACEMENT ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON in the UNITED STATES. Dr Michael Blackmer’s name kept coming up. I made the call! Best thing I think I ever decided to do. Husband went with me! Plain talk is easily understood. Dr Blackmer explained my ball and joint is dead (me? With dead body parts!??) and that I need hip replacement surgery, And this awful burning pain WILL GO AWAY!!! I have been hurting since July 2022, and it’s really gotten worse during the past 6 wks. Dr. Blackmer made this situation look easy as putting a car in the body shop to me! He will remove parts that went out, and he is putting a new hip in place!!! Thank God I know I adore Dr Blackmer’s plain talk! And I have to stop smoking but that’s ok! It’s not popular to smoke nowdays! Looking for the new “me”!!! Thank God for Dr Blackmer!!! Dr. Himself was wonderful. However I waited almost 2 hours in intense pain after being sent from urgent care to be seen. Apparently my chart was lost and they kept bumping people in front of me. I also had to call the next day because the prescription for pain meds was never sent in.

Dr. Blackmer did surgery on my rotator cuff and bicep a couple of weeks ago. I am amazed at how much better I feel already. After reading everything I could find on the internet I was really scared about the pain and recovery time. He did a great job of explaining what was done during surgery and also provided pictures which helped me understand. His staff is friendly and helpful as well. He did an outstanding job and I highly recommend him.

I went to see Dr. Blackmer after my results of my MRI. I have a complete rotated cuff tear in my left arm. He is very knowledgeable , kind, listens to your concerns, and he gives you options on what you can do. Right now I’m just managing the pain with the steroids shots and physical therapy until I can have surgery. You won’t regret seeing him.

I had been struggling to recover from a shoulder injury previously labeled as bursitis. After months of therapy and injections did no good, I met Dr. Blackmer, for a second opinion. He took time with me; asked pertinent questions and listened carefully to my responses. Furthermore, he explained my diagnosis and told me that neither anti-inflammatory pills, nor steroid injections would correct the problem. I look forward to seeing if the new treatment plan provides the relief that I have been waiting on for many months! I’ve only seen him once, but he has already secured my confidence!
