He also specializes in complex revision total hip and knee arthroplasty. Dr. Miranda performs MAKO robotic hip and uni-compartmental knee replacements. Dr. Miranda serves as the director of the adult reconstruction center at Brandon Regional Hospital.
As an expert in the field of orthopaedics, Dr. Miranda has delivered several presentations nationally and has received numerous awards and accolades. With a commitment to educating rising doctors, Dr. Miranda serves as an affiliate assistant professor in the Department of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine at the University of South Florida College of Medicine and as a clinical instructor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Nova Southeastern University.
Dr. Miranda is a member of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and the American Osteopathic Association and Florida Orthopaedic Society.

Dr Miranda was great. The only reason I gave a 4 star was because of a 2 hour wait time. No communication from staff about the wait letting patients know why they are not being called back.
He is very patient. Listened to our concerns. The best!
Waiting time too long. The Dr was very nice.
Waited two and half hours to be seen and didn't see Dr Miranda saw somebody else.
He answered all my questions. Was thorough. Appeared concerned. Explained everything. I am going with him for my hip surgery.
