In addition to maintaining a thriving private practice, Dr. Steinberg has practiced in academic medicine for decades and is deeply committed to the advanced training of future ophthalmologists.
Dr. Steinberg served as Director of Residency Education for the Department of Ophthalmology at Jersey City Medical Center for 15 years. She is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the Institute of Ophthalmology and Visual Science in Newark, New Jersey, and at Jersey City Medical Center in Jersey City, New Jersey, where she continues to train some of the top ophthalmology residents in the country.
Dr. Steinberg was born and raised in northern New Jersey. Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling, fitness training, water activities, volunteering at animal shelters, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
