Dr Mtz Diaz is a good doctor but our entire reason for coming to Gonzaba was to be with one doctor. Yet we see different P.As. Then recently with the visit with Dr Mtz Diaz she was so low energy . Almost like she can fall asleep on the chair she sat while I talked. I felt her answers were very weak and plain. I really left that day dissapointed. It was not our best visit.

I thank Dr Martinez Diaz for seeing me even though I was Late. I do apologize. I asked for Infectious disease Dr. referral, she gave me Dermatologist referral. That's fine, I just hope it helps me. I received a voice message from Dermatologist office; Amanda was the name but I couldn't make out phone number. I called the number main number who said Dermatologist has no appointments until April. After being placed on hold once, she wanted to put me on hold again. I said I will call back on Monday.

This was my first Doctor visit with Dr. Diaz it was not a very pleasant visit she is rude and has very bad bedside manners. She is not willing to listen about my health concerns. I needed to get referrals for certain issues I have and she was very rude and said she will not give me a referral. I Suffer from Fybromyalgia foot pain on both feet and ankles. I have knee pain that needs attention and constant back pain. Suffer from chronic pain every day. My Thyriod is always unbalance due to a Thyriodectomy. I have a lot of health issues and she did not even ask for my medical records from my other Doctor and other specialist which I had many plus I am recoving from breast cancer. No I will never refer her and I am now In process in finding a new health provider possibly even another clinic

First time coming here made me feel so welcome

I’m not sure if I care for this physician. Sadly, she is the physician that has taken over Dr. Mae Sepulveda’s patients. In all the years I’ve been a patient at Gonzaba, I’ve never left, after seeing a physician, feeling worse about myself as I did after talking to this doctor. Her first question to me was, “How can I help you.” After telling her my concerns, she immediately began to chastise me for not managing my diabetes very well and not trying to put forth more effort in tolerating the diabetes medicines. Her words to me were, “I think your a hypochondriac because no one can have a problem with all their medicines and no one can have diarrhea from all diabetes medicines.” I tried to explain that I didn’t have a problem with all my meds and that I didn’t get diarrhea, just frequent loose bowel movements and that Dr. Sepulveda did try to give me something that she felt would be easier on the stomach. She continued to rant about better meds and my anxiety problem.

She doesn't take time to listen, several issues I had, she overrode them. One was the sleep apnea machine, for over a year, I tried to wear with different masks and never could use them, she told me I just had to get used to it. Another was the pain killers, she refused to refill it, I feel that I'm 75 years old, had a mastectomy, gall bladder removed, hysterectomy, UTI's, stents in my heart, I don't have too long to live and I don't want my final years in pain. I don't take several pill a day, only take one when I need it. She did check my main problem with a pap smear but I'm not satisfied with her answer.

She understands and makes sure to explain what the problem is and gives advise on how to care of it.

There was a VERY BIG improvement since my first visit in October 2020 with this physician. However, when the doctor walked in the exam room she told me right away "I only have 15 minutes with you, as I have other patients to see, so just ask me the most important questions you have." I had questions on my recent lab work, three levels were high and one level was low. I had other concerns regarding my medical issues. So I hurried with all my concerns. She answered all my questions and gave me her attention. HOWEVER, I FELT RUSHED ESPECIALLY SINCE I AM A NEW PATIENT. If she had not told me she only had 15 minutes with me, I would have rated her with the highest rate.

I believe that Dr Martinez-Diaz is an exceptional physician. I believe She cares for her patients. I became aware of this on my first visit a couple of weeks ago. I am very happy that She takes interests in her patients instead of just writing out a prescription for the patient and dismissing the patient in 5 minutes. She's friendly, informative, professional, caring of her patients, But it would be nice if she would request lab work before appointment. I'd like to know what's going on with my organs and blood......
