Melissa Kalb, M.D.

Dr. Kalb is a great care coordinator. I’m currently seeing several specialists so coordination of care is is essential. She also excels at all the other things that make up an effective PCP.

She took her time and listen, l Appreciate it when a doctor with her busy schedule do that.

My only complaint is that I waited almost an hour. But that’s to be expected. She’s a great doctor and very responsive to my situations and concerns!

I appreciate Dr Kalb. She listens, researches options and then provides answers to my questions. She includes me in decision making regarding my preventive health (e.g., which blood tests to have with annual checkup). When I thought I had a contagious virus, she conducted an exam at my car so I did not expose others.

Always grateful for the level of care and down to earth interactions!

She listens to me and refers me to specialist when necessary. She also continued the prescriptions I was using with my previous provider.

She was polite, but she didn't seem to care, very cold towards me. She didn't explain things very well to me. I still had symptoms so I got a appointment with someone else. They took the time to explain things to me, and showed me things I needed to do. She was very nice.

Listens and very reassuring.

I used to have a hard time getting a response from her or her nurse. Then I asked the front desk if there was a magic word I needed to use before I got a response. Since that time, the response rate has been better. I feel tho I'm telling her what I need. I had a sharp pain going down my leg the 19th of January and was told initially I couldn't get in until the 30th. I thought about going to the emergency room for some type of relief. I did cancel the 30th because a therapist told me I'd need 6 weeks of therapy before they'd order any type of tests. I completed the therapy and was still not to the point of going back to work. I called again and was told to come in on 2-15, but xray took the day off, I was told to come on 2-16, but Kalb had the day off and was told to come on 2-17. On that day Kalb saw me but sent me to LMH for an xray because the machine was down. I could barely walk. So frustrated. Now I've put myself in physical therapy.

Dr. Kalb is great, she has me on a healthy track. Before I saw Dr. Kalb my health was not the best. Now I am 25 pounds lighter and feel great.

I love Dr Kalb! She's very compassionate and actually listens to your concerns. I never feel like I'm being rushed at any point of my visit like some Dr's do. She is also open to discuss "alternative/holistic medicine" without judgement. Her staff is friendly and accommodating.
