After graduating from Barnard College in New York City with a major in biochemistry, she earned her medical degree at Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. Her training continued at New York Medical College in Valhalla where she was a Resident and then Chief Resident in the Urology Department. Dr. Amster is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a member of the American Urologic Association, the American Medical Association, the Pennsylvania State Medical and Urology Societies as well as the Philadelphia County Medical Society and the Society of Women in Urology. Dr. Amster is affiliated with Hahnemann University Hospital, Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, Roxborough Memorial Hospital and Bryn Mawr Hospital.

the only issue is that her hair is now white. Otherwise she was great.
Dr. Amster is always friendly, engaging and prompt. She takes the time to answer all questions, without dragging out the appointment duration.
