She is excellent at anticipating potential issues and providing reassuring avenues for the best outcomes. Telling a patient six weeks post mastectomy that their cancer isn't real is dismissive and doesn't take into account that although patients with DCIS might not need long term treatment they have experienced trauma nonetheless and their concerns should not be dismissed.
