She has extensive training in several procedures, including microscopic, arthroscopic, arthroplasty, and minimally invasive surgery of the upper extremity.
The Arizona native is well known in the orthopedic world, serving as an assistant professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Chicago. She has also published several research articles, including work on lateral collateral ligament injuries of the elbow and the effect of image-guided corticosteroid injections on thumb carpometacarpal arthritis.

Excellent Dr. I was very impressed by her. What a busy office , Ihad to wait 1 for 1 1/2 hrs past my appt. time.
Very happy with Dr. Conti Mica as a doctor. She is professional, knowledgeable, skilled, courteous, and friendly. The Four Star Rating is due to the long wait to be seen. This needs to be improved. I waited 1 1/2 hours before being seen.
She explains things well
Appointment was at 12:45. Didn’t see doc until 1:10. Assessment felt very rushed. Less than 5 minutes. Felt rushed out of the room before I could ask any questions.
Knowledgeable, personable, and l felt at ease when discussing my situation.
Initial consult
Megan explained everything to me in detail and answered all of my questions. I’m hoping I get to spend a little bit more time with her before the actual surgery but she said everything would be OK.
