She has extensive training in several procedures, including microscopic, arthroscopic, arthroplasty, and minimally invasive surgery of the upper extremity.
The Arizona native is well known in the orthopedic world, serving as an assistant professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Chicago. She has also published several research articles, including work on lateral collateral ligament injuries of the elbow and the effect of image-guided corticosteroid injections on thumb carpometacarpal arthritis.
Dr. Conti Mica’s patient care philosophy is to treat her patients like they were her own family member. Clear and honest communication, thoughtful patient centric care with shared decision making.

Dr Conti Mica is professional accurate and gets you in and out of the office vs wasting your time
As a critical care nurse- I can appreciate when a surgeon offers listens and sits down and talks to a patient.. After given a diagnosis I feel informed and ready to make a decision upon her expert consultation. My only constructive feedback was waiting over an hour in the lobby to be seen.
Short visit but informative. She was not available to fix my issue so she quickly referred me to another surgeon.
Every time I visit, I wait an hour to an hour and a half today I gave up and left before I saw the doctor. I’m really tired of her not having respect for her patients time.
