She has extensive training in several procedures, including microscopic, arthroscopic, arthroplasty, and minimally invasive surgery of the upper extremity.
The Arizona native is well known in the orthopedic world, serving as an assistant professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Chicago. She has also published several research articles, including work on lateral collateral ligament injuries of the elbow and the effect of image-guided corticosteroid injections on thumb carpometacarpal arthritis.

She has taken excellent care of me. I have a broken collarbone which took two surgeries and all is good now. She’s been caring and professional. Highly recommend.
Doctor Mica is amazing. She fixed my hand in one visit!! She listened to me and diagnosed me correctly the first time. I would absolutely recommend her. She is outstanding
I arrived early for my appointment per request and was placed in a room for 45 minutes. After 45 minutes I left because I had to go to work.
Other than a 45 minute wait
She was 35 minutes late. I was supposed to be the first appointment but when she finally arrived she took another patient. I had another commitment (Dr’s aren’t the only ones with schedules to keep) so I left and don’t plan to return.
