She has extensive training in several procedures, including microscopic, arthroscopic, arthroplasty, and minimally invasive surgery of the upper extremity.
The Arizona native is well known in the orthopedic world, serving as an assistant professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Chicago. She has also published several research articles, including work on lateral collateral ligament injuries of the elbow and the effect of image-guided corticosteroid injections on thumb carpometacarpal arthritis.

Dr Conti Mica, it’s very thorough and explained everything well to me about the problem. I’m having with my thumb and all the steps that it will take for surgery and afterwards for recovery. I feel like I’m in good hands and I’m looking forward to having her complete the surgery in three months after receiving a Cortizone injection for now. Her and her staff were running a little bit behind, but we’re very kind and kept you up-to-date on the timing, etc.

Was not seen as was running 2 hrs behind
I had about a two hour wait. That’s completely unacceptable. I was given incorrect information by the front desk as to the wait time.
