Dr Noerdlinger gave me a feeling of complete confidence the first time we met. His very complete diagnosis and easily understood solution were important to me.

It was a fast appt. I didn’t know which questions to ask because it was a whirlwind. He was really nice & very smart but I just couldn’t gather my questions with all this info coming at me.

Dr. Noerdlinger didn’t get around to seeing me until 3:35 (almost an hour after my appointment time) and rushed through the appointment. I didn’t feel like he heard me at all, he didn’t give me time to voice my concerns and kept cutting me off. I do feel like he read my concerns documented in the check in process and he did explain things well as well as making some good next steps, which was validating, but it was a very mixed experience and overall not excellent but acceptable.

Dr Noerdlinger is outstanding though there is really something wrong in the York office. I have seen Dr Noerdlinger several times - He has always been on time with his appointment schedule in Portsmouth- today was the third time I've been to the York office and every time at York I've had a very long wait - Today I had to wait over an hour - and the only reason I waited was to see him. I would never allow that in any other practice. My solution will be to only see him in the Portsmouth office and when I offer praise about Atlantic Ortho, Dr Noerdlinger, and Dr Quitkin I will also offer the suggestion of seeing them in *only* in Portsmouth

1st meeting w/Dr Noerdlinger and was very impressed

Noerdlinger was well informed about my condition (rotator cuff) when he walked in the room. He explained his findings in easy to understand language, took the time to LISTEN to and answer my questions and concerns. He came in with Dr. Kumar who was also informed and attentive. It was an over all great experience. Pretty sure he was running late and may have forfeited lunch to come in and talk with me.

Personable, was my first time visit & I felt like I was seeing a long time friend. I had no questions for him at the end because he anticipated what I might ask and covered all the bases up front. Clear communicator and educator. While the visit was over quickly - kI did not feel rushed and he seemed comfortable to stay longer and discuss anything I on my mind.

I could not have had a better experience with Atlantic Orthopaedics and Dr. Noerdlinger. I was very fortunate to be pain free from my day of surgery through my recovery. Tylenol and Advil were all I needed in the early days. I am now 3 months from surgery and while I still have some stiffness and range of motion I am working on, my pain is gone and I am a solid 75% of the way back to full function.

I felt like little more than a number here. He may be a great surgeon, but he didn't make the best first-impression.

My appointment started with him reviewing all prior visits and the results of them. Next phase was many questions on what I could/ couldn't do and pain levels with each answer. Finally, we discussed options and which he felt I would benefit best. I didn't feel hurried. He answered all my questions showing pros and cons with the model demo. I give him a 5 star for an overall visit.
