Dr. Maura Shea, M.D., FAAP, joined the practice in 2024. She graduated from The College of the Holy Cross with a BA in Political Science while completing the Pre-Medical Program. After college, she spent a year with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in Montana, working in a home for teen mothers teaching them life and parenting skills. She then attended the University of Rochester School of Medicine. After completing her residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Brown University/Hasbro Hospital, she moved to Boston and worked in Boston’s Community Health Care centers in Dorchester before settling into a diverse private practice on the North Shore of Boston before joining PAGS. Dr Shea also pursued a Fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona with Dr. Andrew Weil to augment her western medical knowledge.
She thoroughly enjoys building strong relationships with the families she serves, and in her free time, she enjoys gardening, hot yoga, and spending time with her family. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
