Dr. Matthew Windrow, M.D., has over 28 years of experience in the medical field. He graduated from the University of Texas with a bachelor’s degree, went to medical school at Texas Tech University Health Science Center, and completed his residency in family practice and obstetrics at John Peter Smith Hospital. Dr. Windrow grew up in Hondo and was committed to returning “back home” to provide care to the community that raised him. He enjoys farming and ranching alongside his brother, Dr. Zachary Windrow, and his father, Dr. John Windrow.
Dr. Windrow’s area of expertise is family medicine and he is credentialed with most insurance carriers. He is always accepting new patients and enjoys the continuity of care he can provide to patients of all ages. Dr. Windrow also provides workman’s comp injury care. Dr. Windrow sees patients at the Medical Clinic of Hondo on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and at the Medical Clinic of Devine on Tuesday.
