Dr. Matthew T. Weichbrodt is a fellowship-trained hand, microvascular, and upper extremity specialist with The CORE Institute. His extensive training in orthopedics makes him a valuable addition to the distinguished CORE faculty.
Dr. Weichbrodt received a bachelor’s degree in biology with minors in chemistry and marketing from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He then completed a doctorate of osteopathic medicine from Oklahoma State University while serving as class president for two years.
Dr. Weichbrodt continued his training in orthopedic trauma at the Florida Orthopedic Institute, followed by a stint at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital honing his skills in pediatric orthopedics.
Dr. Weichbrodt earned the designation of chief resident in the orthopedic surgery residency program at Oklahoma State University, where he was also the team physician for several local semi-professional and high school athletic teams.
