Dr Weichbrodt, was very knowledgeable personable, caring. Those qualities are essential when addressing patients are addressing a up coming surgery. We discussed cause of problem, procedures to move forward. He made me feel at ease with step to come and insight on prognoses for the future. Would highly recommend.

I am very happy Dr Weichbrodt was able to see me. He understood my dilemma and as an old man competitor trying to win a competition that is important to me. He didn’t try to talk me out of it or encourage rest knowing I probably wouldn’t listen. He acted accordingly to my competitive nature and is helping me get through this next competition. Very happy I was able to see him.

Dr. Matthew T. Weichbrodt is a fellowship-trained hand, microvascular, and upper extremity specialist with The CORE Institute. His extensive training in orthopedics makes him a valuable addition to the distinguished CORE faculty.
Dr. Weichbrodt received a bachelor’s degree in biology with minors in chemistry and marketing from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He then completed a doctorate of osteopathic medicine from Oklahoma State University while serving as class president for two years.
Dr. Weichbrodt continued his training in orthopedic trauma at the Florida Orthopedic Institute, followed by a stint at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital honing his skills in pediatric orthopedics.
Dr. Weichbrodt earned the designation of chief resident in the orthopedic surgery residency program at Oklahoma State University, where he was also the team physician for several local semi-professional and high school athletic teams.
