Dr. Nugent is an amazing surgeon. He cares about you as a patient and about those taking care of you. My recovery has taken a lot longer because of my autoimmune disease and he has been patient and caring at every visit.

This was my first contact with him. Matt introduced himself as “Matt,” with a big smile, which made me feel a bit more at ease. My husband was with me and Matt began with possible solutions, including NOT doing a reverse shoulder replacement. We were glad he wasn’t pushy or overbearing. Matt answered questions clearly and cheerfully. He explained the process & offered that I could take time to decide. He inspired confidence in both my husband (who will be my caregiver) and me. We appreciated his attitude, self-confidence, and especially his lack of arrogance.
