Since this should really be done I must say & honestly believe that this place, receptionist's,and the whole entire team there in every position there is from beginning to end made you feel welcomed concerned caring very helpful polite answered all questions explained what they were doing with everything to keep you calm knew you were in good hands even while you were out. Dr and anthesteologest were awesome. Next day called me at 8am to follow up bout procedure and ask bout any questions or concerns. They were perfect who all did perfect. Ty all very very much.

He was very nice at talking me through he procedure. I don't remember the procedure because I was asleep. Procedure took about 20-30 minutes. I was pleased with everything.

Dr. Matthew W. Stier, M.D. is a board certified gastroenterologist and joined Rockford Gastroenterology Associates, Ltd. in 2019. During fellowship training Dr. Stier participated in clinical research on the endoscopic management of Barrett’s esophagus and advanced polypectomy techniques, which he presented at regional and national scientific meetings. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and continues to be committed to advancing the care of all patients. Dr. Stier is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Dr. Stier is also board certified in Internal Medicine. He is an active member of the medical staff at UW Health Rockford Hospital and OSF St. Anthony Medical Center.
Although Dr. Stier is well trained in the broad disciplines of gastroenterology, hepatology and clinical nutrition, he has special interests in Barrett’s esophagus, improving quality in colorectal cancer screening, liver disease including hepatitis C, and the management of inflammatory bowel disease.
