Dr. Matt Sorensen, M.D. was born and raised in Melbourne, Florida. He attended The University of Florida and graduated with honors with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. He obtained his medical degree from The University of Florida College of Medicine. He completed his general surgery internship and urologic surgery training at The University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.

It was my first visit. I am very very happy I chose dr Sorensen. He is very very nice and makes you feel very cared about. He seems very intelligent and competent. And took the time to discuss the whole situation. My husband was with me and he was very impressed as well.

Dr. Sorensen and his wife, Kailyn, have one son and they are excited to once again call Florida their home. Dr. Sorensen enjoys all sports but primarily has a love for SEC football. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, reading, golfing, health/wellness, and quality time with his family.
