Very pleasant. Great communication and connection. Thoughtful. Clear in instructions. Accommodating. Staff is great. Am SO thankful Dr. Sarb was on call the night my mom broke her femur. Doing major surgery on a 93 y/o is tricky! He did an amazing job. Four months later she is healing just fine! And thanks to our Creator for making us so fearfully (awe) and wonderfully!

Dr Sarb is a great surgeon in my opinion! I tell everyone how pleased I am with both surgeries he has done for me. I highly recommend Dr Sarb!

I had to wait 2 hours just to see the dr at my appt on Tues. When he came in he seemed professional but did not apologize for my wait no one did. He also made me feel like well here a boot good luck it felt very rushed after that. When I got the boot it was ill fitting I did not get good instructions on how to even use it. I got a 2nd opinion with TOA a much better experience and I felt more relieved about the healing process and outcome. I understand i am not the only person there and they are busy but 2 hours is ridiculous! My appt was at 830 said to arrive at 815 i arrived at 8 sat in waiting area until almost 9 then dr didnt come in until 10! My time just felt very disrespected.
Dr. Matthew Sarb has provided excellent orthopedic care in Dickson and Nashville since 2016. He joined Dickson Medical Associates in May 2021 to focus more of his time in Dickson, TN.
Dr. Sarb’s interest in orthopedic surgery began when he sustained an ankle fracture while playing football in high school. After surgery and with extensive physical therapy he was able to continue playing athletics. While attending the University of Notre Dame he walked on to the varsity football team and saw his first playing time as a junior on the kick-off team.
He attended medical school at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL where he received both a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine as well as a Master of Public Health. Following his internship at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, OH he then completed his Orthopedic Residency at Broward Medical Health Center in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Upon completing residency, Dr. Sarb served in the United States Air Force as an orthopedic surgeon in Biloxi, MS.
After separating from the Air Force, Dr. Sarb moved to Middle Tennessee to be closer to his wife’s family. He began working at Tristar Horizon Medical Center through a family connection to the Caudill Family of Dickson, TN.
Dr. Sarb is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon. He practices general orthopedics with special interests in joint replacement, sports medicine, and orthopedic trauma. When not at work he enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 children.
