Matthew Mukherjee, MD

Dr. Matthew Mukherjee, M.D., brings over 15 years of experience as a gastroenterologist, having dedicated himself to providing exceptional care to his patients. He spent the past 12 years practicing in Long Beach, where he also held the role of Medical Director at the GI Lab at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center.

Dr. Mukherjee’s journey began in Michigan, where he grew up and subsequently graduated from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. He then pursued his medical degree at Wayne State University in Detroit. His internship and residency were completed at Albert Einstein-Montefiore Medical Center in New York. Dr. Mukherjee further honed his expertise during his time as Chief Fellow at the gastroenterology fellowship program at Long Island College Hospital.

A testament to his commitment to excellence, Dr. Mukherjee is board-certified in gastroenterology. He holds a fellowship with the American College of Gastroenterology and is an active member of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Medical Association.
