Dr. Matthew Hansen specializes in orthopedic sports medicine, advanced shoulder, and elbow surgery, knee ligament reconstruction, hip arthroscopy, and cartilage restoration. He received his doctorate in medicine from the University Of Utah School Of Medicine. Dr. Hansen was then selected to the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery (Orthopedic Surgery Residency) in New York City and interned at The New York- Presbyterian Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. He further completed fellowship training at the distinguished Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles. While there, Dr. Hansen worked in conjunction with team surgeons providing care for the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Angels of Anaheim. He also worked with the Los Angeles Kings, the Los Angeles Sparks, the Los Angeles Galaxy, the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, and University of Southern California football.

I have no doubt that Dr. Hansen truly cares about the wellbeing of the patients he sees. He gave honest recommendations to my son after his football injury and showed just as much concern about his full recovery as my husband and I did. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Hansen to anyone! 😃

Waited over 30 minutes in a cold exam room just for him to come in not really look at anything and showing me the door in under 3 minutes! I had to convince him to order a very needed test
