Dr. Matthew Hansen specializes in orthopedic sports medicine, advanced shoulder, and elbow surgery, knee ligament reconstruction, hip arthroscopy, and cartilage restoration. He received his doctorate in medicine from the University Of Utah School Of Medicine. Dr. Hansen was then selected to the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery (Orthopedic Surgery Residency) in New York City and interned at The New York- Presbyterian Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. He further completed fellowship training at the distinguished Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles. While there, Dr. Hansen worked in conjunction with team surgeons providing care for the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Angels of Anaheim. He also worked with the Los Angeles Kings, the Los Angeles Sparks, the Los Angeles Galaxy, the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, and University of Southern California football.

Dr. Hansen was informative , very kind and compassionate during our appointment. He answered all my questions regarding my upcoming surgery. I am very appreciative of his time in diagnosing me and answering all my many questions.😃 thank you so much for your time
He could only direct me to another specialist so hard to rate him. I'm more frustrated with the previous doctor because i felt this second visit was very similar to the first visit and a waste of Mr Hanson's time.
Dr. Hansen has replaced both my shoulders and repaired my broken elbow. Deeply grateful for restoring a higher quality of life to me.

Dr Hansen has now helped me through 2 knee injuries. He has always been professional and truly cared about my long term health.
Dr. Hansen gave me my knee surgery three years ago. He was completely professional extremely friendly and I felt so comfortable during that whole process fast-forward to now I’m feeling some pain in both of my knees and wanted to get ahead of any concern even with him reading my profile. I feel like we picked up our small conversations from where we left off. I would completely recommend him whole day.
