Dr. Matthew Hadley, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee reconstructive procedures, including partial and total joint replacement as well as revision joint replacement surgery. A native of Kaysville, Utah, he is proud to have returned to Utah to care for the community he calls home.
After earning both his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Utah, Dr. Hadley completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Mayo Clinic, where he trained under world-renowned leaders in the field. At the conclusion of his residency, he was honored by his peers with the Joseph Janes Award, which recognizes the graduating resident who best exemplifies compassion for patients, surgical skill, and dedication to orthopedic surgery.
Following residency, he completed an advanced hip and knee replacement fellowship at OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he gained specialized expertise in both primary and complex revision joint replacement procedures. His fellowship training included extensive experience with robotic-assisted partial knee replacement, robotic-assisted total joint replacement, minimally invasive and muscle-sparing techniques, and rapid recovery and outpatient joint replacement protocols – all of which he has integrated into his current practice.
His philosophy of care is largely derived from his time at Mayo Clinic, where the core value “The needs of the patient come first” guides every decision he makes, both in the clinic and in the operating room.
Outside the office and operating room, Dr. Hadley enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children.
